Hey Guys,

Haven’t been a ONE owner in 8 years but happy to be back. Got RED ONE #6193 from Adorama and it came with quite the kit! Besides some minor Residue lines on the sensor (does not affect the image unless you have your lens stopped down past f8) the camera and its extras are in great shape. I have a few things to grab for it over the next few months but I had 3 questions I hope you guys could answer.

1.) what size and head type are the screws for the PL Mount? My camera came with Nikon and PL but no screws for the PL Mount and i plan on using PL soon.

2.) The Red SSD Drives will not mount to my M1 iMac using a USB3 to FireWire 800 dongle but they mount fine on my 2008 Mac Pro, why is this and how can I get these drives to get recognized on my M1 Mac? (Side question: my CF Card reader will not mount the RED 16GB CF cards either)

3.) I am trying to track down another RED body to use for parts and get a new Sensor board attached to the front that has zero defects and i was wondering how I could tell if the ONE body has the original M chip in it or the MX Chip?

Happy to be back :)

For the sensor, I would think all you can do is see if it boots up with MX features or not. Not all MX cameras have the MX stamped side plate either so be aware.

I was aware of not all MX One's having the MX brand on the side. I was able to track down another MX body for a couple hundred bucks and will be grabbing it next week :)

Still cant figure out why none of the RED Media will mount to my M1 mac, probably the most frustrating thing im dealing with right now.

That is interesting... I don't think I have tried mounting my SSD's since purchasing my Mac Studio with the M1 Max. I'll try it out and let you know the results. What Red Station model do you have?

As for the PL Mount Screws I will check that for you as well.

I was able to secure another MX body and got all my problems resolved. Now i have a mint condition ONE MX with only 330hrs on it :)
