Back focus?

Having problems , my video was soft at f7, so I'm looking at my lens 3ft on canon , measured 3 ft to the object, the object should be in focus and it's totally out by the lens measurement, it becomes in focus at 1.5, I tryed turning the screw nothing helps, it almost feels like its not doing anything.?..

There's a screw under the screw apparently. The first one is just a cover screw.

hahaha. Just reading that it sounds hilarious. Yeah apparently there are 2 (actually there is a plug), which is probably why a lot of people haven't seen improvements when performing this procedure (well they are really only adjusting the cover plug).
