B4 - PL Mount functionality.

I can see various applications where using my canon HD 2/3" zooms on the scarlet would be useful. Is there anything in the pipe line which would add electronic functionality to these lenses. The B4 mount adaptor appears only to offer a manual possibility at present.

While there are situations where putting B4 lensing on larger single sensor cameras like the R1/Epic/Scarlet makes sense, its typically a poor bargain in terms of cost/weight/performance.

The far better answer is lenses like the Fujinon Cabrio that offer the operational profile of a B4 ENG/EFP lens with a PL mount and S35/APS-C or better coverage.
