Here is an Emmy Award winning Conversion of the Canon 150-600mm zoom lens. This Conversion was done by Clairmont Camera in LA. It is a True Cinema zoom lens (which means it holds its focus throughout the zoom range). It is in Excellent condition and ready to film. It was recently checked by Paul Duclos in Los Angeles, and no Issues were found. This is a great lens that blows doors on the current sigma, and Tamron versions for still cameras that guys are using on there reds... & those lenses are NOT True cinema zoom lenses!!

Feel Free to email me with any Questions.

Aloha Bill, The T-Stop on this Clairmont conversion of the Canon 150-600mm is T8. I have both the Canon/Century series 2000 Conversion & this one. This one has some things that make it more desirable than the Century. The focus & feet wheel is a bit easier to see and read for an AC. The Drop in filters on this lens allow you to put 2 rectangle glass filters which allows you to put a grad filter in and move it to the desired position for desired effect. This Clairmont conversion is a bit smaller than the century conversion. I personally like this one the best of all the conversions... I have had all of these lenses at one time or another, the original FD canon, OTTO Nemenz Conversion, Clairmont, & century, BTW the F-Stop on the Century is really a 6.7 and much closer to T8 just like this one as they all use the same glass elements. This lens is awesome and is ready for a Heden zoom motor for incredible professional True cinema film work. Perfect for Nature & wildlife, Sports, Action Sports, ETC!!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the info Erik, I like the range and was wondering if I could throw it in the mix for concerts, but I think the T-stop may be a little slow for my use, but I get how it would be great for exterior usage.
Much appreciated.

Aloha Bill,

I have used the lens for concerts, It mostly depends on the lighting.. if its bright it is good but if it is low moody light then yes you allways wish you could have more light or open up.... of course if you are using a new DSMC2 Gemini then then you would have plenty of room in latitude on those sensors.

Mahalo,
Erik
