  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Avid S3D Problem.... Can't Generate EDL'S to export to Resolve for Color Grading

Hi,

I've just shot a Feature film natively with Red One's. I then used Avid to cut the trailer and will shortly beigin to cut the entire film. We cut the footage using AMA links to the files.

We now want to export the trailer sequence into Resolve for color correction. But the EDL manager keeps crashing.

Anyone with experience know how to resolve this problem?
 
I don't believe the EDL format supports stereo. Can you export a 2D EDL, then link to the second eye in resolve?
