Avid DS and Build 20...

Hi does anyone know whether Avid DS 10.2 supports the new colour science in build 20?

I have a project coming up and the Director wants to know if we can upgrade our camera to build 20 or whether we still need to roll with 17 so that we can finish on DS.

Well you could always shoot build 20. and use a DPX workflow with DS is if you wanted to take advantage of the better color science and blue channel handling in build 20.

Verey soon - 10.3 will have it. Exact release date uknown, but within 4-5 weeks would be my guess.

It still is v10.3... as to the release date, I don't know if it is public knowledge yet, or can be. Let me check.

Just trying to decide if we need to go back to an earlier build.

Is there a work around for this? I think our issue is that redspace is not available as an import option. What are people doing to get around this issue?
