hi im at a commercial film set right now and we wanna use the teradek cube with the red one. Yesterday we tested it and it worked pretty good. we attached the cube to the camera with the 4pin lemo cable. But now it seems like the 12v aux ports doesnt work at all. so no power for the cube . Any ideas what might happen ?

The Aux 12V port power is unregulated and overcurrent protected ( I think it's limited to approximately 1A or 1.5A - can't remember offhand ). If you attach something which draws near that current or spikes over temporarily, it can trigger the overcurrent protection which shuts down the port power. You could try unplugging and waiting a couple of minutes for the overcurrent to reset and try again (plug in with Teredek unpowered, then turn it on to minimise spikes). Or reboot the camera and try again.

But as most people have found, the Aux ports are really only reliable for GPIO triggering and not for powering external devices, unless they draw very little current. The most reliable is to power directly off the camera battery via the D-Tap/P-Tap connector on the battery plate (being careful of plug polarity!).
