Just received the Komodo. Just seeing if anyone else is having this problem.
I do a lot of one man shoots, run and gun shoots as well as full production music videos. For music videos I hire out manual focus glass so this isn't an issue for that line of work.
But as for run and gun, I like to be light as possible so I have an array of Tamron lenses, one of the main reason I got these is cos their prime lenses have IS (VC as they call it)
I know I am probably the one of a few or only person using this camera with Tamron glass, but just seeing if anyone else is having issues with the AF when their IS is turned on with other manufactures.
The AF only works with my lenses when I do the following.
Turn the camera on with the AF & IS set to off on the lens, to then turn on AF only on the lens when the camera finishes powering up. Then set the AF on the camera menu. If i turn on the IS I would have to repeat the process. Really want to use the IS for run and gun and would be the dream set up for those shoots.
These are the lenses it happens to:
-Tamron 35mm f1.8 VC
-Tamron 45mm f1.8 VC
-Tamron 85mm f1.8 VC
-Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 VC G2
