Hello! I have a question, I saw in the settings tab Auto Exposure. Clicked on Preview and video recording. I tried to shoot the scene in the night lighting and saw a great result, it became much better. But my question is this. Is it worth it to use? How does this affect image quality? And what can I do. Thank you.

As long as your shooting R3D's it all RAW info and it only adds the change or fix in the meta data.
I use this Auto Expose now and then just to see what the camera thinks.. Usually with a large White card or 18% gray card filling most of the frame.

If you go to the R3D in RedCine X you can change it back to what ever you want. Or even in camera in playback, But I would make sure I copied those settings of Color temp and tint...so if you want to keep them you can copy them and add them to other clips..
