Australian Cinematography awards(ACS)-Mark Toia honored & Byron D'Arcy gold award

It was a great night at the Australian Cinematographers Awards night last night. Mark Toia was honored for his phenomenal body of work and his selfless mentoring of countless cinematographers with the highly regarded Edwin Scragg Award and Honorary Life Membership to the ACS. On the same night my son, Byron D'Arcy one of the youngest members on Reduser, won a Gold Award in the Cinekids category for his film, 'Boy Soldiers'.

Good stuff and well deserved!

And Joe, that's a good honor for your son too.

Awesome news. Congratulations Mark Toia!

Joe,
It can't be a better news for a parent watching his son get such an award. Congratulations!

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thanks Steve and Ketch. Sabyasachi, I felt honoured to be able to be there with him as he grew from a teenager to a young man as the evening progressed. I was also very impressed with the warm reception he received from the cinematographers in the room.
