Hi everyone,

My name is Sebastian Cepeda and Im the Director of Photography and Producer of the Upcoming Sci-Fi Feature Film Aurora, that we will be shooting this year.
So far I had the pleasure to shoot different projects like for example:
The Rift, a sci-fi thriller (IMDb:*http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1954972/*- Trailer:*http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-rift/trailer) that was first a major hit on Japanese TV
and then on the web with over 15 million downloads.
Afterwards I shot Himmelfahrtskommando (IMBD: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1954510/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 - Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmanNAfzd44) Of course both projects shot on RED. This one is on the Swiss cinemas right now and we had some amazing national reviews so far.

But now we want to push it further with our newest project Aurora.
We believe in the power of an unusual and independent story which stays in people's minds, that's why I'm reaching out to you to tell you about my new exciting film Aurora.*
It's a twisted robot love story about a young man who wakes up 60 years after a car accident only to find himself lost in a dystopic world run by machines.

Prior to Kickstarter we were already able to raise $40,000 and have support from over 3,000 Facebook and 6,000 Twitter fans. Let me know what you think about it and once again,
any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated and be acknowledged on the film's website!

We launched a Kickstarter campaign this friday to raise the last bits for production.
You can take an exclusive preview I prepared for you here: http://aurorafilm.org/kickstarter

A young man wakes up 60 years after a car accident only to find himself lost in a dystopic world run by machines.

Aurora is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi film, set in 2080 - 60 years after machines have taken over the world.

Our story follows Andrew (Julian Schaffner), who encounters a car accident on the day of the uprising, in 2020. He wakes up 60 years later, in a world where the human race is almost extinct.

On his path, he comes across a girl named Calia (Jeannine Wacker), who ventures north to reach a long-rumored stronghold called Aurora, the last human reserve. While on constant watch for the machines, they develop feelings for each other until a horrendous discovery tears their relationship apart.

Andrew is not human.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to make a little update on our current Kickstarter campaing.

We're on the edge of hitting $20'000 - 40% of our goal in just 3 days! And all because of YOU! You believe in us, the story and we cannot thank you enough for that.

You are a part of Aurora and we're making this together! There's still a long way to go though, so please help spreading the word!

We'll have some cool updates this week for you and maybe a very special guest! You'll learn more about it in the Aurora-Club (http://aurorafilm.org/aurora-club/)!

Also our filmcomposer, David Mason, created this cool concept score for Aurora - a rough outline of what the film might sound like! Hope you like it! Check it out!

It would be amazing for us if you could help us spreading the word even more, we realy want to do this movie but without your help we wont be able to achieve it.

Post it on facebook, tweeter, instagram, pinterest wherever you like as you know every person that watches it counts to spread the word.

Thanks a lot for your support! Without you guys, this movie wouldnt become a reality.

Long live RED :) Without it we wouldnt be able to shoot this movie neither! :D

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to update you on the project, so far we've reached more than 80% of the budget.
Everything is going to plan so far, luckily.

Another good thing is we got contacted by Machinima (2.2bio views on their youtube channel) and they asked us to give them a teaser so they could help us with our project.
The thing was, we had less than a week to come up with an idea and shoot it...

This is what we came up with:

Of course shot on EPIC as the film will be...

Feedback is as always very appreciated...

Ps.: its only a teaser preview, the footage wont be used on the final feature film.

Thanks to everyone who was a part of this! We just hit our goal. You can still be part of the success.

Expect something cool 2014 =)

Robert
