So in camera playback the audio is fine. When i copy the r3d files to my pc and play them in redcine there is no audio (i've hit the speaker icon)
First time i've had this problem. any ideas?

It wasn't test footage!

Please point me to a existing thread regarding this problem if there is such one.

It's still there I'm betting, try opening the Quicktime MOV files if on a Mac, or importing the R3Ds via Media Browser if using PC/CS4.

HTH

Thanks Paul.

I've converted the r3d's to 1k cineform in prospect 4k and brought them into CS3 and the audio is there. The wave form is quite low however, i believe this is a common concern with the cinefrom audio workflow.
