We have been prepping our Epics today for an upcoming job. We sometimes create Camera Presets specific to a job. On creating a preset today the Audio settings don't seem to be getting saved. Basically we are creating 2x almost identical Presets, the only difference being the Audio settings.

On one Preset we are using line in and on the other preset we are using 48V Phantom Power. But neither of these Audio settings seem to be getting captured in the preset. Anyone have any ideas about this ?

We create each Preset, then select our Audio settings and update the preset accordingly. But the Presets don't seem to keep the Audio input change. is this normal ?

Every other changed setting seems to carry over when we select other Presets, e.g. timebase, shutter, custom buttons etc.

Sorry Bob & Terry

Wrong terminology used, we are switching between Mic Level and 48v. The Preset doesn't seem to want to hold the setting. So we need to change this setting manually.

Any ideas ?

Wait, Epics don't have line in. They only accept Mic level.

Is it just the 48V phantom power setting that's not working in your presets? This should work - I'll test it today.

Edit:
Just finished testing here on 5.1 and it works for me. I created two presets - one with 48V enabled and one with 48V disabled. I am able to apply each and the behave as expected. It might be some combination of settings that is causing the problem on your system. Can you open a support ticket and send in your preset files (you can ask support to forward the presets to me to take a closer look).

Thanks,
Trent

Hey Trent

Thanks for the response, I'll open a support ticket and send the 2x presets through, it will be interesting to find our more from you guys.
