Does the Scarlet output audio over the HDMI feed?

This would be very useful to my workflow where I could capture hdmi and audio thru a blackMagic Intensity, and use this during the first few runs through the script.

I could play it back on large video monitors with the audio out of studio monitors and get any bugs in the performance, lighting, audio, etc. worked out.

According to the Epic manual there is audio over HDMI. Don't know about the Scarlet.

Hey guys, just to throw my 2c in. I wasn't sure if Stuart's reply was specifically regarding Scarlet, but the version fo the RED OPERATIONS GUIDE tat I have does indeed list the EPIC as having audio out over HDMI. From Page 11:

"Audio monitor output options include a 2-channel headphone output on the camera Brain and 2-channel line level analog outputs from the optional PRO I/O Module, plus 2-channel and 4-channel 24-bit 48KHz uncompressed digital audio embedded in the HD-SDI and HDMI outputs."

Elsie, perhaps there's somewhere else in the manual that contradicts this?

Looks like the answer is yes for Scarlet in any case
