I have been working with an editor to trying to roundtrip a project out of Avid, but haven't had much luck. We transcoded to DNxHD 36 using the AAF/MXF export in Redcine. The editor then synced audio and cut together a quick sequence, and we are now trying to send it back to Redcine to relink to the original files and export our deliverables.

My question, is it possible to get audio in Redcine via an EDL from Avid, and using what settings? I have all the original R3Ds as well as BWFs. We have tried a few different methods, but so far have no succeeded in getting audio, only video. Thanks for any help!

Are you trying to conform externally recorded BWF's in Recine X? The EDL is referencing R3D in th V cuts and the BWF in the A cuts. I don't believe Redcine X is designed to conform external audio from BWF, but is a question better suited for the Redcine X forum in this workflow section.
