In the Raven specifications it is written:

ntegrated dual channel digital stereo microphones, uncompressed, 24-bit 48 kHz
Optional 2 additional channels with Expander Module, uncompressed, 24-bit 48 kHz

Excuse my limited knowledge of english - does this mean Raven has microphones built-in?
I can´t see them on the photos.
Is the M3-connections on the lower left side for audio?

Yes it does, right above the brand logo in front of the camera. These are only for scratch audio.

EDIT. Oooops I was looking at the Scarlett.

I can't see them on the Raven but I believe they are somewhere.

ps I reserve the right to be confused

The scratch microphones should have the same size and placement as on the Scarlet-W, the specs are the same.
Could they be hidden behind the vertical "ribbons"?

Thank Bob

BTW the front grill is nice design ...

What is scratch microphones exactly? Similar to audio on Canon 5D? Thanks

I don't how good the audio on the RAVEN from its internal miss are but usually you only use it to sync a dual system. It is a reference audio, not to use in the final edit
