  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Everyone should be aware of Omar Tineo in Richmond Hill, New York and anyone shady that is associated with him. He rented a red package from us and tried to sell it on craigslist and was arrested in a sting operation. This goes without saying but, be very carefully when renting out your packages and make sure your customer has legitimate insurance. It can happen anywhere anytime. A friend of mine had his whole package, lenses and mac workstation with unfinished projects stolen off of a locked set with security at the gate at a legitimate sound stage.:ranting2:

If it's true than... Mr. Tineo and his teammate are PRO Serial RED Thief...

Get his hand crush between two redone.. SAW V style and no no prosthetic this time...
Then let the "Cube BOX Trap" greet him with rusty metal + don't forget to introduce him "FATAL FIVE" (with other RED1's Thief)
And hen Final round... Drum roll please ................
AAAAAAAAAA brand new "Coffin Trap"

Wow... I am very curious to hear more about this... it sounds quite dumb on his part, lucky for you. Glad to that you seem to have your gear back.

Kwan, I don't understand how that makes a serial thief though? Is there more on this on an other thread?

Why Jeff, we sure have moved forward from just chopping off hands here. Maybe the reason we are seeing so much theft and crime in general is a the PC like way in which we treat criminals:

"Your honor, my client didn't mean to torture his dog, strangle his Mother and then eviscerate his Father in the kitchen with a bread knife. If only he had been held more as a child, if the dog had licked his face more, then these people (and pet) would not have met the fate that they deserved for ignoring his basic needs."
 
We should just put a small C4 bomb into his brain with a low rate amperage detector. So if he gets close to something electrical.... Snap, He gets unplugged from the system.... :matrix:
 
Maybe we can contact that mobster guy in Mexico who has been dissolving people in acid and ask him to do some freelance work...
 
Can you give us more information on his technique. I'm inferring that this fellow was a bit sophisticated in some of his methods.

Sure, the odd person is a certified whackjob. But you're posting this on a thread about a thief. Not a murderer.
And some of you with your calls of blood are so far over the top that it's disturbing....seriously, it's a piece of gear. Nobody died here. Get some f**king perspective already.
And any human being that is loved is far less likely to be violent than those that are unloved. It doesn't take a scientist to figure that out.

I'm happy for the guy who got his red back......

Of course, but then you r no fun. This is my sick way of celebrating the bit of good news after seeing 3-4 Reds disappear without a trace. Or do you think we might follow through with our ideas?

That was also a joke... sorry to hear that you couldn't avoid the visual or take them as a goof and not as dead serious statements. Let me disclaim properly for you.

The following sentence is a joke and not to be taken seriously by anyone, especially Evolve who will probably still take offense and disregard this very disclaimer: "Wonder if there is a PG-13 section".

My point is, please don't take everything seriously... if we wrote on this forum as if the principal were in the class room I doubt we'd have as much information sharing going on. It is all in good fun and no disrespect is intended. People are afraid that their red might be next and it tough times this creates more of a tension that has to be alleviated in some sort of way... some of us might be sick by your standards, some might consider you too stern. I hope you are not upset at me, I am just trying to point out our differences or source of disagreement.

Yea, just though you knew about something that tied them all together. As far as I remember at least two of them were break-ins. Though I would also love it if it were the same guy, now that he is in jail.
