Hey guys!!! Hope all is well! I have a tough question. Is there a way to attach a fluid head to a speed rail/ grid? Is there a clamp that you could screw to a fluid head? I'm trying to get a shot from directly above the actor as quickly as possible! Thanks in advance.

The Dana Dolly is a skateboard style dolly designed to run on two parallel speed rails as tracks. It's Mitchell mount with adapters to run 150mm or 100mm bowl, I typically use it with my O' Connor 1030HD head. The system comes with brackets that hold the speed rail the right distance apart to match the wheel gauge - they are "T" shaped and can be mounted on C-stands or rigged to the grid with grip gear. If you need it underslung further hardware would be required. There are also similar rigs like the CamTram, that are on the shelf at many of the larger rental houses.
