Can I attach the 5" touch screen monitor to the front of the top handle using a red rosette block? Will the 5" touch screen attach to the rosette block? Thanks.

I just had this exact discussion with my Red rep.
The problem is that there are only 2 screw holes on the rosette, and these are in the wrong place for the monitor. The two holes in the monitor which would line up are threaded, and apparently just for storing the screws.

The handle disassembles into three parts: rosette block, clamping block, and rubber grip. You need to remove the rosette block altogether, then flip the clamping block and reattach it so the silver wing nut is UNDER the rubber handle. That will free up your 1/4" 20 holes that are currently hidden under the handle.

does someone have a picture of how this would end up looking? it would be ideal for me, I was considering offsetting the monitor towards the SSD side in order to have the handle.....

From what I can tell no pictures exist from RED showing their accessory products in assembly view. It's kind of like putting together an airplane model from dozens of parts without a picture of what it's supposed to look like in final form. A fun puzzle for the whole family!

but I'm sure someone has done this, I actually remember a discussion about how difficult was to take apart the rosette block...

Thanks for the input. I agree that it would be very useful to have some demo videos of how all the different bits can be used. Not having an extensive background in guns, explosives or armaments in general, I didn't even know what a nato rail was until I looked it up for example ...

Yeah, I think it attaches to the Phase Shifting Photon Torpedo Intruder which is an option on the Black Ops Striker Mega Death Ray. Or maybe that was a battery option . . .

In all seriousness Mate, be very careful with what you order and try out since "returns that are open or show signs of wear are subject to a 30% restock charge". What you are trying to do is exactly the config I tried to config and am now returning a several things praying to the RMA Gods that my parts don't get me dinged for 30%
