ATLAS 65mm Test Film - "Because I Love You So"

[Nick Morrison]

Hey guys, this is a quick film we made with the Atlas 65mm, on a rainy day in Brooklyn. The lens was in town for only 24hrs, so we had to think fast, and do something fun - even with a storm coming in!

The results speak for themselves. Shot on a Stormtrooper 8K Helium, the bokeh from the 65mm was drop dead gorgeous.

Mechanically, even this prototype felt good. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the set!

Much thanks to Mark Pederson for letting us use his 8K Helium Stormtrooper.

Enjoy Cinegear everyone!

Looks really nice! Love the grade. Did you use any filtration?

Also complete side note, but the rolling shutter on the Helium is driving me nuts - 0:32 her hand looks so weird!

How are the corners and the edges ?
I see some portholing. Was it wide open ? is it gone when closed a bit ?
