  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Asus ProArt PQ279Q Monitor For Color Grading?

sRGB is okay for 1lite color grading, but its not a color critical monitor, if that's what your asking.
 
Resurrecting this thread, has anyone purchased these for use as COMPUTER monitors? Not for grading but for GUI. I'd love to hear any thoughts. My benchmark for a computer GUI screen is the HP Dreamcolor LP2480zx. Does this match or exceed the dreamcolor - In just a larger screen size? Again - GUI, not expressly for grading. It should look close (Spec says 99% Adobe RGB) but I'm never going to make color critical decisions on this thing.

I own 2x of these. Mostly because of the 1920x1200 resolution, but they're great for basic color correction.
 
How about the HP DreamColor Z24x?
