I edited in FCP using the REDCODE proxies from the camera and then sent the project over to Color. Everything was fine until I went to export and the resulting footage is just artifacts.
I've tried ProRes 4444, 422 HQ and 10bit.

Any ideas?

I know it looks too obvious but did you try to restart your computer? I had a similar problems with Motion and when I restarted my computer the same files were correct.

I have restarted, I've also tried reinstalling the REDCODE QT codec.

Try setting the internal pixel format to 8-bit. I think there are video card compatibility issues with some combinations.

Same issue here
It seems that Color 1.5 can't handle the floating process on 4k r3d
So you just have to be less ambitious and go with the 10 bit engine.
Little Advice: watch out not to push your corrections too far...

Color 1 did it fine with the half debayer process, I used to keep 32bit floating point whitout any problem.

Here is my spec, maybe Color 1.5 need a powerfull GPU to work on 32 bit???

2x2,8 quad core Intel Xeon
6 Go 8000Mhz DDR2

ATI Radeon HD 2600 - 256 vram

FCS 3 - SNOW LEOPARD

You know what... I'm desperately waiting for the future FCS plug'in for the RED Rocket™™:drool5:

The ATI HD 2600 is not really up to it. I'd get something stronger…

:D It seems it was the 'Color looping bug'.

Thanks for the tips, David you might want to add a note in your post about using the Beta version of Clipfinder. The download highest on their website does not have a tools menu.

Thanks guys!

Thanks David. I'll add that.

You basically have to follow RED's FCP white paper to a "T" to make this all work in 1.5. I racked my brain for weeks on that one.

David
