I have been getting messages and questions about this lens so I thought I'd clear this up...

There are 3 generations of Super Speed lenses, and those DO NOT include the B-Speeds. B-Speeds are are different optical design and should not be categorized in the same group with the Super Speed variants.

The Mk.1 generation has 180-degree focus rotation, is marked with imperial on one side and metric on the other and came with a native PL mount (unlike B-Speeds). Made in the mid-to-early 1980s, the Mk.1 the glass is the same from mk.1 through mk.3, only the mechanics and gears change between the different generations.
