Arri T1 1K Fresnel vs Mole Baby 1k Fresnel?

I'm wondering if there are any appreciable differences between Arri and Mole Richardson's 1K tungsten fresnels? I've heard that the Babies run a little cooler, but I don't know how accurate that is.

Any info would be much appreciated. THANKS!


P.S. Also if anyone has experience with Mole's LED fresnels, I'd love to hear their opinions. Thanks again!

Mole is much more durable.. I presume we are talking about a 407 here, right...
However... the reflector design in the Arri is brighter.

If you buy the import copies of the Arri, you do NOT get that great reflector...

It depends, the build quilaty of ARRI lights is very well. And the design of the light keeps getting better while mole has the same design for over 50 years. When I gaffed, I remember always having to fix more moles then ARRI's.
