  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ARRI Mattebox Group Buy! Again!

Reminder to everyone. This Group Buy deal o the Arri MB20-II from Abel Cine Tech expires at the end of this month. After Tuesday the price returns to regular rates, which are about $1000 higher than this deal. Many people have taken advantage of this offer and we've been pretty successful at clearing any back inventory sitting on ARRI's shelves, so it's unlikely we'll be able to offer something like this pricing again.

Anyone interested feel free to contact any Sales Rep. at Abel in NY, LA or Chicago, or you can email me directly and I'll forward you on to someone in Sales.

It is great what you guys are doing...

Is there any chance in the nearish future that we might see a group buy on the MB 28...?? A lot of us guys have a MB 20 11's and need a bit more.

kind regards

Michael L

Hey look, a bright shiny object!

Seriously, the MB28 currently cannot be manufactured fast enough to keep up with demand, so it would be a hard press to convince anyone to offer any special discount packaging.

How will this work with the RPPs? Also, what can I do if all my filters are either 4x4 or 6x6?

Thank you Mitch

The MB20-II will work great with all of the RED lenses, including all of the zooms and primes. 4x4 filters can be used with an adapter tray but those filters won't cover the RED Primes on any mattebox. The MB20-II can take up to 5.65x5.65 filters. If you need o use 6.6x6.6 filters then you need an MB28 or MB14.

Last day coming up kids. If you're at all interested please contact us right away.

The deal is for the rod mount version of the mattebox but it is available in clamp on. You could choose to buy it just as that or buy into the deal and then also purchase the parts to make it a clamp on. Then you could use it both ways.

I have asked a Sales Rep. to reach out to you on this.
