I was looking to buy one of these...

Isn't the value of this equipment new about $2000?

[Andrew clemson]

That does seem pretty steep...... new about $1400 for the MB plus $200 a piece for the backs no? Buying one from Filmtools this week, so if the price changes feel free to let me know.

Normally this is where I would step in and say, it's his sale let him ask what he wants for it. But I'm in the market for a new mattebox myself and have quotes for new ones sitting right here in front of me and will probably pull the trigger on monday. Daniel, if you're willing to come down on price, feel free to PM me.

It would also be great to know what condition your mattebox is in, how old, lets see some pictures of the kit and the case...

[Andrew clemson]

Im just interested to know where that extra value is coming from? If Is it the Hard Mattes?

Hah and normally you'd be right to do so, but when people price things higher used than they are new, it's somewhat comical. Unless matteboxes are like fine wine, they should probably depreciate.

[Tom Jordan]

I'm willing to give you $2,250 for it all. Let me know if your interested?

Thanks!
