Bit of an odd request here, but if it's not too much to ask, would anyone who owns or has access to an Arri Junior 1000w Fresnel snap some photos of the inside of the lens housing, so that I can see how the lens is affixed to the inside?

I don't have one to take a picture, but I am almost certain that there are three retaining clips that are screwed onto the inside of the casting and extend in about a 1/4 inch so that the lens can not fall backwards. There is also a high heat fiber ribbon between the lens and the casting. it is important that the lens be able to expand and contract so it is not fixed tightly in place by the clips.

I hope this is helpful.

Mine is a "Studio" model, not sure if that's different. The lens goes in from the front, not the back, and has 4 pads - likely the high heat fiber ribbon Eileen is talking about - supporting from the back, with spring clips on the front.

It's also for sale, along with a 2k just like it...
