Did some "factchecking" and found this in the Scam sticky from James Perry:

Kirk Fraser - Broken/ Fungus Lens scammer, falsely advertised lens and lied about servicing/ repair cost refund. Lost over $4,000 to him

Not sure if it's true, but just trying to look out for people.

[kirk_fraser]

@Daniel I never sold any lens to James L Perry. I'm not here to scam anyone, what's the point, I'm to easily found and this industry is to small to do anything like this if you want to continue to do business. I've been in the business for 20 years.

[Sulekh Suman]

Thank you for the leg work Daniel.

[Javier Banos]

detective DANIEL, so what is it you think right sale price should be at for no paranoid witch hunt?
if to low you think scamming but to high you think not right also.

Not a detective, just looking out for other Redusers. I personally haven't seen a full package like that sell for below about $52-54k
And those didn't include the expensive anamorphic 4:3 license too...

Looked at James Perrys post again Kirk and he said he got that info from another respected senior reduser. Take a look in the scam sticky at the top of this list if you're curious.

[Kemalettin Sert]

why not go NY and meet with the seller then buy the equipment?

[Anil_Kumar]

[Kemal Yildirim]
