  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Are we really living in Matrix....? Red or blue pill?

Oh sooo, thaaaats why I keep finding these bloody things everywhere.

Given the apparent complexity of our universe and the amount of stuff we just don't know, I suppose anything is possible, even this. Look on the bright side, if it's true, perhaps we can eventually find a way to hack the system. ;)

Yeah. A simulation would be the best outcome since it means our consciousness is potentially being logged and could be restored. It also means that fundamental 'laws' of the universe are just rules in the simulation that could be hacked and overwritten.

The downside is it means someone is either maliciously letting us suffer or oblivious to our existence and wouldn't mind shutting it off. ;)

Or they are just running the simulation to the bitter end - maybe the experiment is just to see if us AI inhabitants can avoid mutual self destruction. If that's the experiment then "They" wouldn't interfere just because some of us AIs were killing each other or the planet.

Or the life span of the simulation might be linked to our abilities to unearth conclusive evidence of the existence of said simulation. One "eureka!" and the plug is pulled. Or perhaps it's a tad more delicate than that: one insightful post on reduser and the universe grinds to a halt. "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do, I'm half crazy…."

"...test if we live in a computer simulation" ... bit scary for me.

Depends on one's definition of "computer".

Don't be scared.
Fear cripples. ;)

I don't want to remember nothing. Nothing. You understand? And I want to be rich. You know, someone important, like an actor.

If it means getting an undo button that works in the "real" world, I'm up for it.

It's called prayer.

Or maybe each simulation runs to a point that allows the simulation (universe) to start creating it's own simulations (universes)... creating a never ending, fractal like, set of universes.

Simulation?, of course it is.. too many glitches!. (Jim is going to think that I am crzy again, je je)

But anyway, do yourself a favor and google "The Fibonacci sequence of numbers" or "Golden Ratio".
Is everywhere in nature, from flowers to human bone measurements, tree branches, sea animals like the Nautilus or a Dolphin, in your piano, in hurricanes, even in far galaxies. That's math.. is a code. Some people call that, "The fingerprint of God". (not trying to start a religious discussion here), but..

One thing is for sure: If there is a Matrix; with all that people raping little girls, or those who are shooting people at theaters malls and schools, there are for sure also "agents" (viruses) doing a very good job!. (No the Matrix's Master fault thou).

I'll take the Red pill. (and the camera!).
