Are The Touchscreens resistant to light rain?

Hi there, does anyone know if the RED Pro Touchscreen's are resistant to light rain? I am wanting to put together a basic rain cover for my Scarlet with the LCD screen above the cover for shooting in light rain. However, if it is not recommended I will modify my plan. Thanks

They are not sealed so there's no way they could be fully resistant to rain.
Few drops shouldn't be a problem as on any other camera lcd, but that's all you should try...

Technically rain water is distilled, so It shouldn't conduct electricity or do any harm. Salt water bad. Tap water bad. Rain water, not as bad ;-)

but if it mixes with any residue on the camera before entering it it may have conductive properties which is why i'm not going to try it.
