What would this camera weigh?

Machined and hand assembled EPIC-M Brain with titanium PL mount
5" Touchscreen LCD
Side Handle
Side SSD Module
REDmote
128GB SSD cards
Batteries?

I guess an average lens weighs, what, about 3 or 4 pounds?

I'm trying to figure out what a basic Epic X camera might weigh in this configuration. Thanks!

Ted's Epic at Tonaci's recent interview weights 4 kg = 8.8 lbs

Canon zoom lens 24-70mm weights 950g

that means EPIC brain with LCD 5" + battery + CF module + Canon EF mount

weights about +/- 3kg = 6.6 lbs.

So if it's titanium body alloy shell involved than it could weight about 2.7 kg = 6.0 lbs with TiPL mount.

But it's just a pure speculation...

And Epic Light could be obviously lighter even body alloy shell made from aluminum.

My guess that Epic Light could weight between 2 kg = 4.4 lbs to 2.5 kg = 5.5 lbs.

But also I could be totally wrong here.

What was on that camera when it weighed 8.8lbs?

Nice! So it definitely seems like this could come in under 10lbs, even with Redmote and SSD. But what kind of battery is on that? Might I need more battery power?

Related Question: The module interface mount-- the mount that links the brain to the accessory modules-- how much weight can that mount take? What's the limit on it?

RED battery (belt) clip...

..and the best to use Lentequip’s LE-UB that doesn't "have the airplane and shipping restrictions of Lithium Ion":

Lentequip’s LE-UB is a lightweight, long-lasting, NiMH 14.4 V
8 Ah battery that snaps onto most video cameras, Red, and the
new ARRI Alexa. Because it’s Nickel Metal Hydride, you don’t
have the airplane and shipping restrictions of Lithium Ion—and
it’s almost the same weight.
• V-Mount 14.4V, 8Ah NiMh Battery
• Full communication with RED: capacity is shown on RED
display
• 5-step capacity display
• User-replaceable fuse if battery is short-circuited
• Side charging connector — which doubles as additional accessory
output
• Power connectors and dovetail can be serviced if required
• Lentequip charger capable of charging two batteries at the
same time, while docking 4 batteries
• Intro price USD $475.00 each. (lentequip.com)

That's with one of the new smaller Redvolt batteries in the side handle. Approximately 30 minutes run-time.
