  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

"Apple scaling Final Cut Studio apps to fit prosumers"

Clearly, we were just kicking the bull around. Does a little speculative musing really equal a bunch of people getting worked up? Some people take this Internet chatter way too seriously.

Speculation

Speculation

I am sure many of us feel this thread is too long.
Then again, it is fun to fool around and speculate.
I hope most users understand by now, that this rumor is BS.
If not, i truly recommend Phillip's great blog.
I think that:

1. Apple is highly invested in ProApps and is very hard at work on FCS4.
2. FCS4 may be one, smoke-like super app [Phenomenon/extreme anyone?].
3. FCS4 will inherit iApp features in a professional way. This is not a prosumer product [they have that already].
4. Seems convenient that Avid & Adobe have their best versions out. Apple can see how they work and how to do better.
5. FCS4 will be a joy to use, workflows and all. I like to be positive.

I believe Apple has been silent & busy, to make this one work well, 64-bit style, specifically for the pro crowd and not to make another iDollar.
