This has been a great machine for me but I need another laptop, sadly this has to go. I primarily use it for editing video and photos and have not had a single issue. It will playback R3D footage at half res without hesitation and full res with a small lag on occasion. If the ram is upgraded, which it can be. I'm guessing you'd be able to watch R3D footage at full resolution without a single hick up.
As the title states. It has a 3.4GHz i7 quad core, AMD Radeon HD 6970M (2gb), 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD 7200rpm. The only set back I would say has to be the 8GBs of RAM but over the time I've owned it I haven't need to upgrade it. It is upgradable to 32GBs for about $250 on eBay or other sites.
It will be under applecare until November 27th, 2014. So over a year left as of right now. Which there is a picture of in the ad.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I do still have the original box though it is a little beat up.
This is a great machine and the screen looks wonderful! It's great for photo work and video work alike.
I'm looking for $1650+shipping.
