I was shocked by the disclaimer at the very end that said that all the presentation videos and drone footage was shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max! WTF?

Marc,
Once Tim came back at the end I stopped watching. I must admit I really didn't pay that much attention to the actual footage. That is amazing that all of it was shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I'm going to have to go back a re-watch it again to check out the drone footage and all the other footage you mentioned above.
Definitely picking up an M3 Macbook Pro, just have to check out in person to see 16 vs 14.
Just want to say that the M3 is a real-deal upgrade. The one "negative" point that seems be getting a lot of traction on various social media or forums is the memory bandwidth. Don't let that get you thinking that Apple nerfed anything. The 200GB/s (M1/M2 Pro) and 400GB/s (M1/M2 Max) was essentially unrealized or under-utilized in any configuration except the upper end Max. The M3 provides superior cacheing and higher bandwidth internal interconnects. So M3 Pro chips get 150GB/s memory bandwidth, which is still plenty adequate. M3 Max chips have either 300GB/s (14 core) or 400GB/s (16 core) bandwidth. All Pro and Max chips still have 400GB/s GPU memory bandwidth. T biggest performance advantage of the M3 over the M2 is with the GPU.
The lower configuration M3 and M3 Pro systems are more limited on external monitor support.
Depending on usage and what your current system is, it may be a worthwhile upgrade.. If you're coming from an M2, there probably isn't much reason to upgrade unless you really need the GPU. Coming from an Intel MBP, this is a great time to upgrade... But so was last year, or the year before. I've ordered a couple 16" M3 Max units to replace our last two Intel MBPs. My personal MBP is an M1 Max and it's still going strong. I'll probably upgrade it to an M4 when that day comes...
