Apple Cinema Display DVI Input Problems

I am having problems getting a DVI signal in my ACD from the RED through an HDMI -DVI cable. The display works just fine with a converted HD-SDI signal through an AJA convertor box.

We want to see the menus on our ACD monitor but can't get them through the HDSDI port. Any recommendations? Does the ACD monitor just not take this signal from Red?

Right. From what I understand the ACD will not accept a signal from Red's HDMI output. It only works with a converter box like your AJA.

I can hook my 30" on the HDMI port with a DVI adapter and it works great, not my older 22" though.

I've heard the 30inch works, but the 23 inch doesn't....

Has anyone been using the BM HDLINK with any luck with the 23inch?

With a HDMI->DVI adapter my cheapo Samsung Syncmaster works, both 23´Cinema Displays dont.

RED to 30" ACD works fine via a Gefen HDMI to DVI adapter.

Red to 23" brand new ACD does not work.
Old HP 720p with 720p output works.
New viewsonic 19" with DVI output works.
