My buddies and I were just talking about this last night. Actually, my camera operator was having a hard time figuring something out on the camera as was i so I called up RED and within a minute I'm on the phone with someone helping me out with my issue. no interrogation, no asking for a serial number, social security number, my blood type, NOTHING. Just there to help. My friend was AMAZED to say the least. I just can't understand how a company like Apple can be so uncaring for their clients and RED can be the opposite. But that's just my personal experience. THANKS RED!!

Funny, I have always had good customer experience from Apple; just as I have from RED.

I think he means Apples silly and super long computer interrogation anytime you need to do anything by phone there... HAL asks you a lot of stuff...give it a call, its fun! lol

Yes, Red support deserves all the praise it gets and BTW Apple is recognized by it's customers as having one of the highest service ratings in their industry. For a predominantly consumer electronics company that is no small fete. Comparing Red to Apple is apples and oranges... Blood oranges, if you will. ;-)

Yeah, I never call Apple. I am lucky enough to have a couple stores within a few minutes drive and usually just go there. The folks are actually pretty informative and helpful. In the early years of APple retail, they were a little weak but now they have a ton of well-trained people.
