Hi guys,
I just put together my first Red One MX kit and I currently have a Mac Pro, but it's a 1.1 model, which means it's a first generation mac g5, I guess. Red footage plays back using 1/16th, 1/8th and 1/4th (stutters ocassionally). I was wondering is there any upgrades I could do to this for red footage edits? I'm using Snow Leopard and apparently cannot upgrade to Lion, which is a bummer. Also, dont know which display cards are compatible with this machine, that will playback Red footage. I think the Nvidia GT 570 is not compatible either.
Anyone know any solutions to this problem? Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks guys.
Cheers,
Niraj
