Yes I am aware of the red trade in deal for 9.5k, but figured I'd see if anyone would want to trade me a used Epic for less then Red is charging me (but we both need to account for our transfer of ownership fees as well in the deal)? I like the Red trade in since I will get a new warranty with the camera and that is a huge benefit. However on the off hand chance someone does want to trade down to Scarlet I just wanted to put it out there that I am open to the concept. Ideally would like a local trade to happen, but I don't know if the geography will work out. I am based in CT near NYC.
My camera was recently serviced by Red and is working fine, had to replace a board in it for 250 bucks. I believe it has around 150 hours but will need to check to verify when I shoot some fireworks tomorrow night. Never rented it out, but I am the second owner of it (he never rented it either). Have had it since Sept of last year and put most of the hours on it myself. I am happy to add pictures to this listing or send them to people by email, haven't shot them yet though because I am not sure if anyone out there wants to trade down, so I wanted to see if there was even any interest to begin with before bothering...
