Anyone using Redbyte Decimator or Blackmagic converters?

Hi,

I'm in the process of getting a wireless monitor for my Red, to use in conjunction with my wireless FF. I'm looking at the Titan solution, with a Rainbow 6’’5 with integrated Rx, but I have no idea about the HD output on the Red.

I have the Element Technica breakout box which I want to plug the Titan in.

Would it work, or would I need a SD converter?

Advice and Titan users experience greatly appreciated!

I know about the BOXX too, but it's way out of my budget.

I havent used this monitor, but it works with the Decimator and red, I have used the Decimator before with RED1 on my steadicam to feed my monitor(noHD) great unit and great price

I got the answer from the Titan rep, I need the Decimator unless I want to buy the 8000€ Titan HD...

I'm trying to find a way to power it on the Red, since my D-Tap is used by the VF Inclino...

Are there any cables or adapters that allows to plug multiple D-Taps on the Red? Or a Lemo power cable for the Decimator?

I made my own power cable for the running the Decimator off the RED body, but eventually had a cable made so I could power it from my sled. Either way, Terry West is the guy for making cables. Contact info in this post.

We build up a "Y" D-tap cable with 1 male for the battery plate and 2 female on the other side, 1 for the Decimator and 1 for wireless focus (here in Spain generally is Skorpio by ServiceVision) and it works fine.
Definitely we prefer Decimator over Aja downconverter for price/size/weight/power consume.
We use it many times before wireless PAL transceiver on steady or crane and was always fine.
But we also use the Wevi and damn we want it! HD wireless is completely an other world.
I'm still waiting to see a cheaper/more simple version of the TitanHD. The Transvideo people @ IBC said to me that was almost done but as far as I know there's no news on this side.
