Anyone using a Zacuto mini or universal baseplate?

Just curious.. I was thinking of a viewfactor cage but its quite pricey and i'm not entirely sure I need all of those cheese holes..

I bought Zacuto's universal baseplate and returned it because the slick anodized top surface didn't grip the camera at all and the camera screws are a bit too hard to access to allow a huge amount of tightening.

With my DSLR this was obviously a huge problem because the camera would spin off the single screw. Since Scarlet has two mounting points it will be less of an issue (it'll still slide back and forth easier than you'd like, but I doubt it'd come loose).
