Anyone used MACRO lenses on the R1?

Hi guys,
Looking at Nikon mount lenses for my R1, and came across the Tokina 100mm 2.8 macro lenses. Has anyone used it?

Also, has anyone shot macro on the R1, or know of anywhere on the net I could see some examples?

Hi Matt,

I did, with the P+S Technik IMS Canon Mount and the 100mm Canon. It looks stunning. Used it from the first moment I got my RedOne (summer 2008). some pics are here: http://www.blueandgreen.info/Services.html As the IMS mount is not supported by Red, I am now looking forward to use it on Scarlet soon. However, I am doing docu only, and for features or commercials you might want to use higher quality glass. There is a very nice Zeiss PL macro out there we used on my last film, but can't recall anymore, if it was 50 or 100mm.

Not only macro lense but almost 90%
The macro lens used was a Micro Nikor 60mm

Brice is one of the best in the business shooing Macro bugs. The material I saw recently was R1 Brice? I thought it was Epic 2k 300fps stuff.

Thanks Will.
The material you saw is more recent and shot with an Epic and Leica lenses, well another league.
But still, the Red M was and is really capable aswell.
