Hey guys and girls,

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a Red Scarlet-W and am researching an affordable and complete rig that's sturdy and won't break the bank. I've come across the Lanparte Professional Kit V2B which sells on B&H for just under $2,000. Link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...te_pk_02b_c_professional_kit_v2b_without.html

It includes a ton of seemingly good items, and the packaged bundle is well priced. Online, Lanparte is well reviewed from what I can tell, but there isn't a ton of info out there. I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience working with this rig or individual Lanparte items and can give me some good insight. Or if not, recommend a rig that won't break the bank. Thanks!

I have a Lanparte follow focus. Great value. Solid. No play at all. The only FF I could find with things like hard stops, reversible gear etc. for $400. The only problem is it's VERY heavy. You can probably expect good build quality from their stuff, but had I known how heavy it was I might've passed - unfortunately thems the breaks when buying online. At the time, Lanparte seemed very popular with DSLR shooters. Good reviews all around.

Got a Lanparte FF as well. I'd give it very high marks for quality and durability. The have a bunch of other bits that I find useful like bolt on rod clamps. Surprisingly decent compared to lots of other stuff coming from China.
