Anyone have a "normal" 35mm format PL lens they'd like to rent really cheap???

Hi all. . .

My RED will be in the next batch, and, as of yet, the long-awaited Birger mount has yet to arrive.

I'd rather not have a $25,000 paperweight laying on the shelf for my wife to poke fun at!

Anyone have an extra 35mm format lens around that they'd be willing to part with for a month at reasonable expense???

Buy the 18-50 mm RED zoom and sell it later.

I think buying RED's Nikon mount would be a good option if Birger doesn't come through. I think it's only a couple weeks away now.

I'm hoping Birger hits their latest posted shipping dates because then my camera and the Birger will show up about the same time. Otherwise I'm going to have a $25k paperweight...

I have a reasonably sized zoom lens with a brilliant range of 25-500mm. It can't be beaten. That way you have almost everything, all you need to find is an 18mm if you can't live with the fact that the widest is 25mm. It's also great for handheld since it's only 40lbs

As a fellow RED owner I'm willing to rent it out cheap. :sorcerer:

Seriously, Big Lebowski's advise is not bad - but I would suggest the cooke classic instead.
