Greetings,

We can't currently update our Red Rocket X Driver to the current Driver 2.1.34.0. Thus we are stuck at DaVinci Resolve 12.5, unable to upgrade and utilize our RRX.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has a RRX in a similar setup and has had success/failure with the 2.1.34.0 driver

Get error message trying to install driver: RED Rocket-X Driver 2.1.34.0 Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error...

Also anyone else out there with just a similar setup with Cubix Expander?

Our System:
HPz840, Windows 10 Pro v1607, OS Build 14393.693
Dual Xeon E5-2680v3 12Core
NVIDIA Quadro M4000 GUI Graphics card in z840
Blackmagic Design Decklink 4k Extreme 12G in z840
Cubix EXpander Desktop Elite - 4 Dual Bay Graphics Expansion Chassis
-----Contains 2xGTX TitanX graphics cards AND Red Rocket-X card

RRX works with Helium in Resolve 12.5. It just does the decode process only, but takes a huge load off your CPU. "Use red Rocket if available" needs to be dissected in Resolve prefs. Not sure why you cant install the firmware, but that is definitely a question for Red Tech support, which are very fast to respond.

I works well in my system, Windows 10 - dual xeon 2699 v4 - Dual Quadro P6000, but it is installed directly into the mobo. I would try and remove it from the expander and see if you can install the firmware while inserted directly to mobo pci-e, then put back in Cubix after update.
