Anyone done business with Ravi Sambhwani?

He has some oconnor tripod/head kit that I am considering but it looks like he has been banned on here!!!! Which raised a red flag!

Can anyone vouch for him or his company Guru Enterprises?

Im not sure why he was banned. but he tried to sell for over a year on here. I was tempted by low prices but

I have no idea why Ravi was banned, but I have spoken to him previously when searching for certain Zeiss or Angenieux lenses, and he seemed to have extensive knowledge of his inventory.

He has many listings on eBay too which I had come across, and lead to me contacting him.

Personally I have not done any actual business. Ask for pictures, and references if you are thinking about working with him.

I have dealt with Ravi numerous times in the past, more in terms of selling him products. He has been very prompt and reliable.

I think he just buys and sells equipment. I believe I purchased a 138mm filter from him years ago. If in doubt, use a broker to help secure the deal.

Why did he got banned?
I almost bought from him just this past week.
He quoted me a couple Oconnor 2575's & Ronford tripod systems.
Ravi seemed very legit to me & never once did I suspect any fraud.
But in the end his pricing just couldn't beat what West Coast offered from the start.

He was banned because I think the moderators felt he posted too many things for sale at once. Hopefully they will release his ban soon.
