Anyone cancelling RED one to get scarlet?

I'd never cancel my reservation for the Red. But I'm thinking about buying a Scarlet additional. 1900€? Jeez, you can't buy a Mac for that.

I'm not rich but I ordered a Red One because I'll never have to worry about making a "cinematic epic" with it. The list of plusses has only grown with this cam since the beginning of the week. Yea, it's the big child now, but talent are impressed with that, aren't they? ;>) And it's actually not that big, compared to some other company's offerings, who trail behind, especially in pricing and pure good looks x2. I digress.

Truthfully, as those first bits of NAB info trickled onto my screen just after midnight my time, I thought I may have made a mistake in my ordering of an R1. But of course, that was just the jitters and awe of being overwhelmed by new product only a magician could conjour. My mouth was agape for some time I'm sure. First it was like the dread you feel after buying a new computer and then the guts get upgraded completely two months later with a new release. "Just buy what you need and don't look back!"

Well, that doesn't seem to be the motto with RED; it's..."and keep looking forward!" I ALWAYS hate making big purchases, and I've had my doubts about this cam. But I was looking at an H-something-something-500 before this one, at a package price similar to what I'm plunking down now...! Unreal! Now that I would have regretted! And if my little insignificant dream starts to come true this year as I tinker through the bliss of making movies and I make a little money, too; if I'm not just smoking crack and I actually hit all the right notes and find a market for my flick(s), look at my birthday present next year! What an EPIC upgrade! (I've already got $17,500 in the bank!)
