Excited that the X5R MFT camera was finally released last week but I haven't seen much from the sensor at all. If it were Red i would have ordered already obviously knowing RED knows color science but DJI has been hit or miss on previous releases concerning their cameras.

Im also hesitant to have a $6K system flying on just 4 props - One fails and the whole thing comes down.

I have the x5, and it's a great camera. I don't see the benefit of burning tons of data, shorter flight times, and longer download times. If a client requests it I'll rent one. The x5 footage looks great.

The benefit is shooting RAW at a much higher bitrate than the x5. X5 does look great but the X5R should look amazing if it stacks up to its paper stats. DJI is silent on this release for whatever reason.
