Will there be a Scarlet upgrade? From my initial read on the Dragon post it looks like the upgrade is going to be from Scarlet to Epic-X

Version I read said there are to be to options:

1. Scarlet to Epic-X then at a later date Epic-x to Epic-Dragon

2. Scarlet direct to Epic-Dragon

Yep, that's what I read. Great news is that Jarred also said the offer would "likely" be indefinite. So we have time to save up for those required too.

Thanks RED.

Yes. That's what I meant. How much for Scarlet to Dragon Epic X?

I think the cost to upgrade will be the price of epic-x or epic-D body minus the price you paid for your Scarlet body.

At a guess, maybe the price of an Epic Dragon X less the price of a Scarlet (give or take a few $K) - so a $5K to $8K discount for your existing Scarlet?

RED has always been pretty good about making the trade-up a straight forward thing. With Epic-X now at $17,500 and Scarlet at $7950 (bodies only), I would guess the trade will be right around $9500-10K, plus a fee of some sort. For the next step = Epic to Dragon - I'd guess you'd pay the additional difference, or around $6500. Total Scarlet to Dragon then, $16K-18K.

That's just based on my exquisite arithmetic skills and is not to be taken as if I have any insight! LOL (And I'd guess it is optimistic in nature.)

That's my guess too. But I would love to know if anything official has been announced yet.

I can't find it. Link please?

Or just post how much is it?

I for one am blown away by this. 5k 60fps Dragon Scarlet for $9500, un-freaking-believable!
