Anybody got experience with 'Schneider Optics Century HD Collimator' or similar ?

Hey guys,

In my never-ending quest for sharpness I am looking for a 'pocket collimator'.
I have a Red Focus - but that only tells me if the backfocus of the camera is correctly
set - not the flange focal distance of the lens AND the back focus in sweet togetherness
for a better sharper whole.

Anybody ever used one of the above or any other pocket collimator ?

I've seen it at couple of trade shows- it works... Same idea as sharpmax. The image gets really small with wide lenses. I think UO had a similar device...
BTW you got it flipped- it's "flange depth" for camera and "back focus" for lenses:wink5:
