  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Any REDusers in Seattle want to grab a coffee...?

Ill be in seattle working tomorrow. probably wrap around 5-6pm. can meet after that.
 
I'm also in Seattle, more specifically Ballard.

I can still meet up tomorrow but would love to move location more central to Seattle.

I'm open to suggestions on location, but that will be around dinner time. Been eating out a lot recently, so I'd love to find something cheap-ish. Are we okay with Dick's? Or is that no good? I'm cool with any of the Seattle locations.
 
Sorry I could not make 7pm. I had bought tickets in advance to see The Master in 70mm at the Cinerama.

Did anyone end up getting together?
 
Nothing happened. I think trying to do it shotgun-style doesn't work. We need to get something on the books far enough in advance that people can make it work. Plus, I think this forum makes it hard to get the word out. I've been brainstorming something else. What would you guys think of a Facebook group? That way we can create events and communicate a lot easier.
 
Okay Heres the Deal I would like to see this happen. I have talked with a fellow RedUser that Now lives in Seattle (Northgate area) that was kind to offer his new Place for us to meet. So how does Mid/Late January work? Please PM Me with Dates that may work for you and we will try to get this down soon!

And no, I haven't tried Jak's, yet… oddly I haven't heard of it, which is strange because I am always searching for new places to eat nearby. I just looked it up, and it sounds great! I think my wife and I will be trying it out on our next date night!
 
I'd be interested in being a part of the facebook group. Starting to compile a list of RED shooters that I can call on in the PNW and beyond, plus I'd love to chat/learn from other locals! I spend half my time in Seattle and half in BC/on the road!

Do you actively get together? I'm currently directing a documentary film around the Seattle area and it'd be great to meet up with likeminded folks. Could use a local Red shooter from time to time.

Our Facebook group isn't very active ATM, but some of us still meet from time to time. I'd also like to meet up, if you're interested.
 
Cool, Austin. I'm out of town this week but next week would be cool to get some Seattle peeps together for a beer in the city. Will contact you and Domenic for a good meet up time to kick things off. If anyone else would like to join, please do.
